The disadvantage of dry cooling method is that the production cycle of plywood is long because of the long pressing time. It is suitable for the production of small enterprises.
Dry heat production: the veneer with rotary cutting is dried, and the moisture content of veneer is 8-12%. Then, the veneer is glued to form a plate in a hot press. The production characteristics of this method are as follows: because of the high temperature gluing, the time is short, the output is large, and the bonding strength is high, and the product quality is good. The surface of the board is smooth and flat, and it is not easy to deform. It is suitable for all kinds of adhesive production.
This method overcomes the shortcomings of the wet heat method and the dry cooling method. Production is more flexible, large, medium and small enterprises can produce, the products are more suitable for the needs of the market, therefore, at present, domestic and foreign enterprises commonly produce plywood by dry heat method
